  • Recognize the different types of micro-behaviours, including verbal, nonverbal, and environmental cues that perpetuate bias and exclusion in the workplace.

Managing and Addressing Microaggressions

  • Apply strategies to respond in difficult situations, as the recipient of disrespectful behaviour, as a manager/people leader, and as the perpetrator. Know when to Call In vs. Calling Out disrespectful behaviour.

Promoting Micro-Affirmations

  • Discuss the concept of micro-affirmations as positive, small acts of inclusion and affirmation that counteract microaggressions, fostering a more inclusive and supportive workplace environment.
  • Learn how to implement micro-affirmations in daily interactions and practices, promoting belonging, respect, and equity for all employees.
