Course 1: Introduction to Unconscious Bias
In the Introduction to Unconscious Bias course, participants will gain a deeper understanding of what unconscious bias is and how it affects the day-to-day lives of individuals in the workplace. Participants will engage in activities that prompt serious reflection on personal biases and their source as well as complete actions that will promote continuous reflection and personal improvement to mitigate the negative impact of unconscious bias.
Course 2: Allyship in the Workplace
In the Allyship in the Workplace course, participants will gain an understanding of how their perspective and day-to-day actions impact the culture of inclusion in their workplace. Participants will learn skills that can be applied daily in order to become an ally to their underrepresented colleagues.
Course 3: Employee DEI Data Collection
The Employee DEI Data Collection training will educate participants on how collecting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) data can level-up their overall DEI strategy and initiatives. It will also equip them with the skills required to collect DEI data at an organizational level. Participants will have a chance to learn about best practices along every step of the process; from survey design, to communicating the initiative, to analyzing data, participants will learn from Diversio’s methodology to ensure data is collected in a way that prioritizes employee safety and is actionable for the organization. This training is great for anyone looking to champion DEI data collection initiatives.
Course 4: Inclusive Recruiting & Hiring
In the inclusive recruiting and hiring course, participants will apply knowledge on concepts discussed in our other courses, such as unconscious bias, allyship, and DEI. This course takes a deep dive on how these topics apply to the recruiting and hiring process. Participants will take away tangible skills conduct inclusive resume screening, interviews, and interview panels. Ultimately, the findings participants take away from this course will lead to building a more diverse workforce that feels included right from the start of their journey. This training is great for anyone who is looking to champion an inclusive recruiting and hiring strategy.
Importantly, this course does not discuss other DEI concepts in detail, which are the foundation of executing inclusive recruiting and hiring; it is for this reason we recommend participants have a pre-existing understanding of the DEI concepts mentioned or start with our other courses which focus on these topics independently.
Course 5: Workplace Flexibility
In the Workplace Flexibility course, participants will learn how flexible policies and practices can provide an accessible and equitable workplace, in which all employees have potential to achieve the same level of success as well as other benefits to company culture. This course will provide a Toolkit and actionable steps to properly build a flexible workplace culture. This course is designed for individuals seeking to champion a flexible culture at their workplace.
Course Format
Each course will be conducted entirely via a virtual learning platform. Assistance is available via email, with experts available to answer and course-related learning questions. In order to fully complete all course offerings, we recommend that learners have access to a functioning laptop or PC with stable internet connection and working speakers.
At the end of each course, the learner will be expected to complete a non-timed multiple choice assessment on major topics within the module. Learners will be encouraged to retake the assessment until they achieve a passing score.
Academic Integrity
In order to preserve the integrity of the course, we ask that all learners refrain from plagiarism in completion of any activities, and that they do not directly discuss solutions to the multiple choice assessment with other learners currently undertaking the course. All of the work submitted should be completed by the learner, and we also ask that course materials are not shared with others not completing the course unless otherwise specified.

Learners with diverse needs are very much welcome in this course, and we are happy to accommodate wherever needed.
