Diversio Announces Series A Funding

Today, we’re excited to announce a significant milestone in Diversio’s evolution as a leader in the DEI technology space: we’ve officially closed our series A funding, raising a total of $6.5MM! This incredible investment will allow us to continue to innovate and improve our data-driven solutions that help companies measure, benchmark, and improve DEI, and serves as further confirmation of the importance of our mission to build more inclusive cultures at companies worldwide.

Since it was founded in 2018, Diversio has been fully self-funded and profitable (already a signal for how strong the need for a product like Diversio was), and had attracted many investment offers and funding opportunities. On the strength of our global growth, the idea of accepting VC funding became less about the dollar amount, and more about the added value the right VC firm could bring.

The Right Partners

After countless meetings and pitches, it became clear that the US-based firm First Round Capital and Canadian-based firms Golden Ventures and Chandaria Family Holdings best aligned with Diversio’s mission and vision for growth. All of these organizations have an outstanding track record of success, (First Round being first-investors in unicorns like Uber, Square, and Blue Apron, and Golden Ventures funding successes like InkBox and Ritual), and were already leading the way in prioritizing DEI within the VC world. The alignment of values, extensive industry experience, and level of support they provide made them ideal partners.

Next Steps

This infusion of capital strengthens Diversio’s already impressive growth trajectory, providing resources to accelerate product development, amplify marketing efforts, and expand our sales and client success teams.
