Inclusion Metrics Series: Fair Management

by: Kate Stone

Fair management means that employees feel that managers are fair, allowing employees to advance and celebrating them for good work. Research shows that women, who are part of the non-dominant group, are 1.4 times more likely to receive critical, subjective feedback (Harvard Business Review.) Fair management is measured by the presence of nepotism or favoritism, positive and multidirectional feedback culture, clear and consistent communication, management biases, transparency, employee recognition, and pay equity.

On November 17 from 12:00 – 12:45 PM ET (9:00 AM PT & 5:00 PM BST) we will be hosting a live webinar to discuss the impact fair management can have on your workplace and how to implement it.

Topics to be addressed:

  • What does fair management look like?
  • How can companies prevent or remove favoritism and biases?
  • How can leaders improve multidirectional feedback, communication, and transparency in their company culture?
  • What impact does fair management have on the company culture?
  • Questions from the audience.

This webinar is a part of our 2022 Inclusion Metrics Series. To learn more about the other inclusion metrics and how to implement them, register for the rest of the events in our series here.
