Unconscious bias is a pervasive yet often overlooked issue that affects decision-making, workplace dynamics, and overall organisational performance. This session gives participants the knowledge and tools to understand, recognise, and address bias before it affects outcomes.

Participants explore the cognitive neuroscience behind how biases form, examine how bias shows up across hiring, promotions, and team dynamics, and leave with evidence-based strategies to interrupt bias in real time.

Respect in the Workplace

This interactive, research-informed workshop explores the critical role of respect in building inclusive, psychologically safe workplaces. Participants examine how respect influences equity, engagement, and performance — and what happens when it breaks down.

Drawing on what the data shows about disrespect at work, participants develop the skills to recognize, respond to, and prevent microaggressions, harassment, and exclusionary behavior on their teams.

In this session you will:

  • Understand what the data shows about patterns of disrespect in the workplace and why they persist
  • Understand the role of human rights legislation and what it means for employers and employees in Canada
  • Identify disrespectful behaviors including microaggressions, harassment, and exclusionary conduct, and understand their impact
  • Implement practical strategies to respond to and prevent disrespect, building team norms where psychological safety is the default

Each bundle includes one kickoff meeting with the facilitator to set goals and expectations, plus certificates of completion for all participants. Can we customize sessions or deliver them in-person?
