In this course, we will cover key concepts such as understanding the history and lived experiences, dissect biases within business environments, and propose both systemic and individual solutions to create a more inclusive environment for all.   • Understand the multifaceted nature of identities and adopt an intersectional approach to comprehend Black identities. 
  • Gain an understanding of the history, lived reality, and terms to be familiarized with to provide a more inclusive work environment. 
  • Examine the different forms of diversity and intersectionality of gender.

Bias & barriers in the workplace

  • Uncover the impacts that bias has on the workplace and its detrimental effects on allyship, career advancement, and inclusion.
  • Examine the detrimental impacts of bias within the workplace and discover strategies to
    challenge and combat it.
  • Gain insights on stereotypes and microaggressions to develop early intervention methods and actively promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
